 Who we are

Boy Scout Troop 45 is chartered by the Christian Academy of Knoxville (CAK) in Knoxville Tennessee. We are a member of the Great Smoky Mountain Council and the Toqua District.

Our Scoutmaster is David Bonewitz. He is very committed to our troop and the development of young men through Boy Scouts of America. Our Committee Chairman is Jerry Clothier who is a tremendous asset to our troop. The troop is also supported by several Assistant Scoutmasters and many parents.

Our troop has approximately 50 boys and six patrols -- Eagle, Salamander, Wolf, Wandering Coyotes, Black Panthers, and the Barking Chickens.

We are quite active in outdoor events and regularly take hikes, attend camporees, go backpacking, and participate in many other exciting activities.

Throughout the school year, we meet on Tuesday nights at 6:30 PM.
